Join us for the 2025 Cumberland Plain Symposium, a one-day event bringing together researchers, policymakers, restoration practitioners, and community partners to share insights, challenges, and opportunities for ecological restoration across Western Sydney.
The Cumberland Plain Research Symposium is a multidisciplinary forum dedicated to
advancing research in the restoration and conservation of the Cumberland Plain
woodland, with a keen focus on its impact on Aboriginal communities and the broader
population of Western Sydney.
Hosted by the Cumberland Plain Research Program at Western Sydney University, the symposium will feature keynote presentations, speed talks, poster displays, and other opportunities to explore how science and collaboration can drive positive environmental outcomes.
This year's event will take place in Parramatta on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.
Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are included in the registration fee.
