The Cumberland Plain Research Program has been proudly co-funded by the NSW Government Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and Western Sydney University. Through this partnership, leading researchers are delivering critical science to enhance knowledge of the region’s threatened species and ecosystems, improving our ability to manage, restore, and monitor plant, animal, and ecosystem responses to conservation efforts.
We are actively collaborating with key stakeholders and organisations to deliver Stage 1 of the Cumberland Plain Conservation Plan Research Strategy, ensuring that research informs evidence-based conservation, restoration, and land management decisions
